I wouldn't bet on too many operators taking notes. So far I haven't seen a lot of new things being tried at our local tracks. I had hoped for a Late Model series amongst the southern Ontario tracks, but that doesn't look like it going to happen. A race track season can get tired real fast if its the same thing week in a week out. With all the competition for our entertainment dollar, things need to be fresh. Long gone are the days where I'm a regular at any one speedway. Maybe it's going to take a track to close to get owners to pay attention to the fans. We pay good money and should be treated with respect.

They can't even get the fundamentals right, much less sidewalks.

It seems to me, that most of us are not to enamored with the way tracks are being run and the way fans seem to be taken for granted. I really don't like going to a track and going away thinking what the heck were they doing. Any program that takes more than 3 hours [except maybe a special or long distance race] is just wrong. We as fans can complain about car counts; but haven't got any control over the situation. That is a track owners job. This year I'm going to be more selective as to where my race dollar goes. I'll pay attention to what is said here to get a feel as to what is worth going to. I truly hope this year doesn't turn into a dud like last year. I hope you fans out there are vocal with your comments, positive and negative, as to what goes on at the local tracks through-out the season.  And by the way, whats happening at Cayuga Speedway?  Remember: without no audience, there ain't no show.
